Freedom Christian Academy
Freedom Christian Academy was founded in 2005 by Pastor Cal Lorts and his late wife Barbara Lorts, along with Matthew and Keather Healy, under the direction of The Great Commission, Inc. Their 42 years of combined educational and ministerial experience has benefited FCA by bringing the highest educational and spiritual expectations to this school. They originally started 91st Psalm Christian School in Casa Grande, AZ in 1976 along with 91st Psalm Ministries with the goal of bringing each child into a fuller understanding of Jesus Christ and the Word of God. After 1984, they started a 2nd school in Phoenix, AZ which is still in operation under Southgate Fellowship as 91st Christian School serving Pre-K – 12th grade. Again, in 2004, the Lord began stirring their hearts to reach out further into the newer communities in Queen Creek, AZ. Because of their commitment to serving the Lord and seeing His purposed accomplished, their vision was birthed on June 15th, 2005. Freedom Christian Academy began its first year serving Pre-K – 5th grade with each year opening up a new grade and now serves Pre-K – 12th grade. The school founders are dedicated to this purpose: serving FCA’s students, parents, and teachers in love, that Jesus Christ might be revealed in us to show forth God’s glory on this earth!
